A new weather alert has been issued for Lake Garda, with forecasts of thunderstorms and possible hail for today, Wednesday, April 23. The Functional Center for Monitoring Natural Risks of the Lombardy Region has warned that a storm front is approaching, with intense phenomena expected particularly in the afternoon hours. The yellow alert is active from the night until midnight today, with expectations of strong winds and significant rainfall.
According to the Civil Protection bulletin, precipitation will begin overnight and will mainly affect the alpine areas and the eastern regions of the Plain. Starting in the afternoon, the showers will become more widespread and intense in the evening in the pre-Alpine areas and the western high plains, with estimated accumulations between 15 and 35 mm over 24 hours. Citizens are advised to be cautious of the potential risks associated with these adverse weather conditions.
