February 4th marks World Cancer Day, an initiative promoted by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) which this year focuses on the theme “United by Unique,” emphasizing the importance of putting people at the center of cancer care. In Lombardy, from February 4th to 10th, there will be prevention and care activities in collaboration with ATS Brescia and local ASSTs, including free cancer screenings for the target population, vaccinations for cancer patients, and initiatives promoting healthy lifestyles through anti-smoking counseling.
ASST Garda has launched a program that involves not only the Hospital Facilities but also the Consultorios, Vaccination Centers, and Community Houses in the areas of Nozza di Vestone and Leno. More details about the services offered can be found on the official ASST Garda website and via QR Codes present on posters and the organization’s social media channels.
